OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I am just SO glad that someone made a new board for Gena and the Lords!! I was a moderaator at the other board and was SO sad when Gena told me it was going down. *sigh* You saved my happiness with this. LOL

This is not so much a rant but merely stating a fact.
I'm leaving my computer downstairs tonight and possibly every other night from now on. 'Cause usually if I can't get to sleep at night, I'll go on my computer for hours, just pretty much checking the boards, my email, and playing solitaire. Then by the time I finally check the clock, it's like 3 or 4 in the morning. So I'll go to bed and won't get to sleep until 5 or 6. And then I'll wake up between 10 and 12, and then go straight onto the computer for pretty much the rest of the day. Unless I have to go somewhere or do chores, then I'm always on the computer(sometimes I'll watch tv while on the computer but I'm still on the computer whether I'm watching tv or not). It actually drives my mom nuts when I'm on the computer when I can be doing something else. But once I've done my chores or whatever, then she doesn't bother with the fact that I'm on it too much, just as long as I get things done. It's actually kind of pathetic since I'm a teenage and probably should be hanging out with friends or playing outside, but 1. my friends haven't really talked to me since school has ended(they only talk to me when I talk to them first) and 2. there's really nothing to do around my house, just dogs and I don't even really walk them. *Just got an idea and ran off to the LoTU message board to post it*

So...I am a bit of a History buff. Not all history. Like...the history of the USA and Canada...hardly interesting to me. But ancient Greece/Rome/Asia, and European history, to me, is very interesting.
I'm sure it's no surprise then that I am addicted to the television series The Tudors. I love love LOVE this show. And...for the record, I LOVE Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I do believe that I am going to become a stalker next summer when I visit Ireland. Mmmm...the things I would do to that man...~blinks and shakes head~
Anyway...yes...The Tudors. King Henry VIII...Gods...he frustrates me. I do and always have both loved and hated that man. Loved him because he was just slightly awesome. But I have always been an Anne Boleyn fan...so Henry royally pisses me off for the whole beheading situation.
And all becuase she was unable...in only a three year period...to give birth to a living son. Meanwhile...their daughter,Elizabeth, whom he declared a bastard after Anne's death, became one of the most beloved and esteemed rulers in European history.
What an ass.

UGH!!! I feel completely awful. For the past four weeks, all I've been doing is coughing every minute of every day. Worse, no matter what kind of cough, cold, or asthma medicine I take, it doesn't work. And it just keeps getting worse. Lately it's gotten kind of violent and painful. I've had to sleep on my back to avoid coughing as best as I can while sleeping. I HATE to sleep on my back. Now I'm aching everywhere and have a headache from sleeping on my back. I've missed so much school because of it and soon I'm going to fall behind. The doctor has had me go for a ultra sound for my heart and just yesterday have a chest x-ray. As of yet, she still doesn't know what's wrong with me. I have to go to the doctor's, again, tomorrow and miss even MORE school. All I really want to do is curl up in a ball and hide in my room to sleep for the rest of life. It sounds so good about right now, compared to how I feel.  |

Oh Luvs. That's so sad to hear. I hope the doctor can find out what's wrong soon. Sorry to hear that you're in so much pain.
Adalee, I am also a history buff. I read history books for fun sometimes. Ancient, Rome, Greece, Egypt and Mesopotamia are my favorites. Henry really was an idiot. The sad thing is there are still some ridiculous men out there who get angry with their wives for not producing a certain sex. Idiots.

But forget about being sick.... The best thing ever happened to me, well... next to finally meeting my father and grandmother. I WON A KINDLE!!! This sort of thing has NEVER, EVER happened to me. I'm one of those people who gets nothing or close to nothing, all the time. And yet I won it. Even better, thanks to an extremely generous friend at my birthday party, I'm able to buy a brand new Ipod Touch for cheap. I swear, if anything else good or bad happens this week, I WILL have a heart attack.

Thanks!!! ^_^ I honestly can't wait to get it. I'm going to be freaking out until I get, I can see it now.
I even wrote down some of the ebooks I want to get for it. And I suppose it would be alot easier to get the books I don't have that way, instead of spending alot of money for shipping at amazon or for the whole price at the book store.
But I so still prefer getting actual books... So, I guess I'll think about that. But I'm definitely getting the Darkest Fire and Prison.... Can't wait to FINALLY read them!

UGH!!! I had ordered a book from a seller off amazon. I hadn't gotten it yet, even though I shouldn't have gotten worried until after friday. But I had gone and checked there profile. And guess what?!!
Apparently everyone who had ordered a book from them, NEVER got it. There has been over 64% of people who haven't gotten their book. I'm so mad, everyone thinks its a scam company.
UGH!!! And there's nothing I can do about it since apparently the seller doesn't reply to any of the e-mails sent to them.
I don't know what to do. So mad!!! I guess all I can do is warn people about the seller.
So don't buy ANYTHING from the seller jersey.xray at Amazon.

Yup, that's why I don't buy anything from ebay or amazon "stores" or sellers. I certainly understand that saving money is great, but you have no way of protecting yourself from this sort of thing.
